So I just joined the iPHone family and already have all the obvious Apps (Facebook, Instagram, Netflix, Dropbox) but I could use some more recommendations since the App Store is kind of annoying to browse through.

Any suggestions, both free and paid?

The following are the apps currently on my phone:

MLB At Bat (free, but requires in-app purchase to listen/watch baseball games)

Camera+ (paid, significantly improved over the stock camera app)

Chrome (free, better web browser)

Kindle (free, read Kindle books and sync with your Kindle)

Tweetbot (paid, best Twitter client on iOS)

If you're a news person then Pulse News is a good suggestion. Its free and has a ton of different news sources to check out. I also must recommend Camera+ because its so much better than the regular app that comes with the phone.

Definitely the Amazon and eBay if you regularly use them. I love being notified when an auction is going to close or if someone bought my items even when I'm not home ; )

I also recommend the app to whichever bank you use. I have Chase and their app is phenomenal; it sends alerts for anything you want (money withdrawels, money received, etc) and makes iteasy to check your balance.

Chrome. The Sarafi browser stinks. Also check out Fandango if you're always on the go and like eating out, watching movies, etc. You can look up movie times, buy tickets, and then have your phone scanned for entry into the theater. No standing in a line or having to wait for a ticket ; )
