Since the in-game clock is in sync with your Nintendo DS and since certain events only happen every once in a while, simply adjust your DS clock. For example, the guard in the Pokemon Mansion guarding the Bronze Statue only takes a break between 2 and 5 a.m. Set your clock to that time so he is gone. This also helps in speeding up berry production by jumping a few days back and forth. Note: After moving the clock forwards or backwards, you cannot migrate for 24 hours after trying to migrate, even if you set the clock back.
When you battle the Elite 4, fight the second member and battle until she sends out her Golem. Use Grass Knot on the golem. When the little circles appear, Golem will turn cross-eyed and stay that way the rest of the battle.
First, make sure you have a Shedinja, a Pokemon that knows Skill Swap, and a Ghost-Dark hybrid. This trick only works in double battles. Enter the Shedinja and the Skill Swap Pokemon into battle first, then immediately have the Pokemon that knows Skill Swap use it on Shedinja. Afterwards, switch Shedinja out with your Ghost-Dark hybrid and have the Pokemon who knows Skill Swap use it on your Ghost-Dark hybrid. Since no move can deal Super Effective damage to a Ghost-Dark hybrid, using this trick to swap Shedinja's Wonderguard over will make it invincible. However, even with Wonderguard, the Ghost-Dark hybrid will only be invulnerable to attacks. meaning that special conditions, recoil, etc. will still damage it.
This trick requires a Nintendo WiFi connection. Go into the GTS building with two and five Pokemon in your party, including the one you want to duplicate. Talk to the woman to save the game then let you in. Choose "Deposit Pokemon" and select the Pokemon you want to duplicate. Select a Pokemon that is impossible to have, such as a level 1 Dialga. When it says "Conditions Okay", press A. Watch the little wheel at the bottom right of the screen and turn off your DS when it has spun around eight times. Turn on your DS, load your game, and go back into the GTS. Note: The number of turns required for this to be successful depends on your internet speed and strength of connection. Eight turns is the average so you have to figure out your number of turns yourself by trial and error. To do this first, try eight turns then check the following outcomes. If eight is too early, try eight and a half, then eight and a quarter, etc. After that, every time you want to clone something, use that number of turns. The following are three possible outcomes after turning your DS on again:
A "Game Corrupted" message appeared and when you went into the GTS, it said "Deposit Pokemon". This means that you turned off the DS too early. Try turning your DS off later.
It loaded normally but when you went into the GTS, it said "Summary". This means that you turned off the DS too late. Try turning your DS off later. Also, be sure to take back the Pokemon and exit the GTS before you can try again.
A "Game Corrupted" message appeared and when you went into the GTS, it said "Summary". This means you have successfully duplicated your Pokemon and you should have the Pokemon in your party and in GTS at the same time. Take back the duplicated Pokemon from the GTS and leave. The duplicated Pokemon will also be holding a copy of whatever item the original was holding, so use this trick to also duplicate items such as Masterballs.
Sometimes, after battling in the third gym in Veilstone City, Dawn will not ask you to help her take back her Pokedex from Team Galactic. If you talk to the Team Galactic members that were guarding the warehouse, the dialogue between you and them will be the same as when you are helping Dawn, but the battle will not start because Dawn isn‘t there. This is a game-breaking glitch and you must start a new game as you cannot continue your journey any further.
Go to the route between Mt. Coronet and Snowpoint City, then go where the hail gets stronger and faster. When you find two houses, enter one to find a hiker who says that he lost his HM Rock Climb. The HM is right outside of his house. When you have it, see the hiker again to receive both the HM and the Icicle Plate.
This method is more effective in the beginning of game, especially when you have to get your two first badges. First, catch a Kricketot and train it by using Bide until it evolves into a Kricketune. It will then learn new moves. Use the same trick with Machop so it also learn Bide. These Pokemons are helpful when they are stronger, especially when facing the second Gym leader and chose Piplup in the beginning).
On Route 217 (the snowy route heading to Snowpoint City), there are two houses. In the first house, a hiker will give you an Icicle Plate if you give him the HM 08: Rock Climb from behind his house. In the second house there is a lady that will give you a Spell Tag. Enter the second house and talk to the lady to get a Spell Tag, then go outside and enter the house again. The woman will have disappeared.
Even though they are cheap, don't feed your Pokemon bitter healing items (such as Herb or Root) or else their friendship points may decrease drastically, ruining your chance to evolve Pokemon that require happiness in order to evolve.
Look on your map and go to a place near the end of the map with areas you cannot reach or go any further. First, ride your bike through a Route and encounter some Pokemon. Defeat some, catch some, run away from some, or damage a Pokemon's health once and run away. As soon as you hit the water's edge or an area that cannot be walked on (for example, trees or a stone platform), save the game. When you return to your game, immediately press the direction facing the obstacle that could not be walked or ran through to start running through the objects. The top screen will indicate that you have reached a place called "Mystery Zone” and there will be faint music playing, like that of the area where the PalPark is located. You might may bump into something but keep holding the D-pad and you will eventually get through. You will soon reach the game's limits where there is only infinite black abyss. Note: This is very difficulty to do, will require multiple attempts, and is not guaranteed to work with every game.
Two Pokemon that roam the map in Pokemon Diamond and Pearl are Mesprit and Cresselia. To catch them, raise a Pokemon with a high Speed rating and the False Swipe attack to at least level 50. Use the Marking Map on your Poketch to find the Pokemon and battle it. Use False Swipe and, assuming your Pokemon was fast enough, the roaming Pokemon will take damage before fleeing the battle. Keep finding it until the target is at 1 HP since it will retain the damage you inflicted each time you encounter it. Be sure to save the game after each encounter and have some Quick Balls. Also, make sure not to encounter it in an area that has a damaging weather effect, such as the northern blizzard area. You should also try to inflict a status problem on it that won’t kill it. Keep throwing Quick Balls when you encounter it with low HP to finally catch it.
To obtain free Pokeballs of various types, go to the house to the right of the Pokecenter in Solaceon Town. Catch the type of Pokemon the man requests that day and show it to him by the time he must run his article. The trick is to save the game before you show him the Pokemon so if you do not get the type of Pokeball desired, you can turn off the game and talk to him again to receive a different Pokeball.
Receive the following fishing rods from the corresponding people:
WHERE TO OBTAIN
Obtained from a fisherman on a jetty on Route 209.
Obtained from a fisherman in Jubilife City.
After defeating the Elite Four, go to Snow Point City. Your rival will invite you. Take the boat to the fight area. As soon as you arrive, go up and there will be a fisherman. He will ask you a question, agree with him and he will give you the Super Rod.
Acquire the following Eevee evolutions by performing the corresponding tasks:
HOW TO EVOLVE
Maximum friendship, level 35, daytime
Use a Fire Stone
Use a Thunder Stone
The rocks in the Eterna Forest and on Route 216 (Moss and Ice Covered Rocks) make Eevee evolve into Leafeon and another Pokemon. Take a Eevee in the grass that surrounds the rock and train it to the next level to make it evolve.
To get all Pokemon without using the Game Boy Advance Pokemon games, Nintendo WiFi is needed. In Jubilife City is a Worldwide Trade Station. Go in and talk to a person at the desk; say "Yes" to everything. You will then be in a strange looking place. You will automatically go to a computer where you can search for the Pokemon you want. However, you must to trade a Pokemon they want to get the Pokemon you want.
If you have a Pokemon with the Magma Armor or Flame Body ability in your party, it will cut the hatch time in half.
If you have a Pokemon egg and are waiting for it to hatch, it will hatch after 10,250 steps. The best place to get a lot of steps is in Amity Square. By doing this, you are able to collect something from the Pokemon that you are walking after every 200 steps.
In Solaceon Town, get on the far right side of the path next to the Pokecenter. Then, ride your bike in the fastest gear up and down until you hit a tree or mountain and repeat. You must have done at least 400 steps each "lap" to get an egg to hatch more quickly.
Pokemon abilities play a large role. Combine move sets with abilities to be able to perform excellent combos. An example is having an Onix with the moves Screech, Double-Edge, Slam, and Stealth Rock and the ability Rock Head. Begin with Stealth Rock, then Screech to lower your opponent's Pokemon Defense. Then, hit them with either Slam or Double-Edge. Due to Rock Head, Double-Edge will not damage Onix.
Open your Trainer card menu and open your badge case. Rub the stylus over the badges that you have won from the gym leaders to watch them become shiny after a good polishing. Also, each badge plays a different sound, allowing you to play them like an instrument.
In the Union Room, stand where your friend spawns. When they enter the room, it will not notify you or show them, but on their DS it will show you and it will have a notice. When your friend communicates with you it will say that your friend wants to talk, but on your DS you are alone in the room.
To get all the starter Pokemon, you will need Honey and must have access to Veilstone City. Having Fly makes this easier. Put the Honey on a tree and wait six to twelve hours, then return to possibly find a Munchlax. Catch it if it appears, or repeat the process if it does not. Note: Make sure it is a female. Once you have a female Munchlax, evolve it via friendship. Once you have a Snorlax, give it a Full Incense (obtained in Veilstone City) and place it in the Daycare with any Pokemon on its egg list; some of which include Bastiodon, Sheildon, Cranidos, Rampardos, Snover, Gible, Gabite, or Garchomp). Note: Its egg type is "monster". When you return, there should be an egg. Take the egg but leave the couple in the Daycare. A Munchlax will hatch from the egg. Repeat the process to acquire more Munchlax's. Then, go to GTS in Jubilife City and put the Munchlax up for trade. You can put him up for any Pokemon; people tend to give starters for them. Note: This also works with Pokemon Leaf Green or Fire Red with a Snorlax and Pal Park available.
To successfully execute this glitch, you must first perform the Pomeg Berry Glitch, which involves using a Pomeg Berry on a Pokemon with 1 or 2 HP so that its HP loops to 65,535 (displayed as ?35 in-game). Do the glitch, but instead with only one Pokemon and an Egg in the party, making sure the Egg in the top-leftmost slot of the party in the Pokemon menu. Once done, you can then enter battles and use the Pokemon Egg as if it were a normal Pokemon.
It will function as a normal Pokemon: you can view the stats it will have upon hatching, it can level-up by defeating Pokemon, it can learn new moves, and can even evolve. You can also alter the Pokemon inside the Egg in otherwise-illegitimate ways. For example, Pikachu cannot normally know Thunder when hatching from an Egg at Level 5. However, with this glitch Pikachu can. Similarly, you can hatch Eggs with fully-evolved Pokemon.
This glitch only works on Japanese versions and allows you to enter the "empty" Mystery Zone that fills the voids in the game's geography, allowing you to obtain the Nintendo Event-only legendary Pokemon Darkrai and Shaymin. (The promotions for these Pokemon have passed, so this glitch is required to get them without trading.) You will need access to the Elite Four and Pokemon with Surf and Fly or Teleport. In Aaron's room, face the southern door and use Surf to go through the door. When done, you will go through, now easily able to move around to New Moon Island and the Flower Paradise in the game where you can find and capture Darkrai and Shaymin as you would any Pokemon. Once done, you need to Fly/Teleport elsewhere because you cannot able to leave after that, since the events were not properly triggered. But, otherwise, the Pokemon will function as normal; the only thing to note is that obtaining the Event items for these Pokemon later will not regenerate them, and failing when using the glitch is the same as failing as normal: you only get one shot.
Treat your Pokemon with love to increase friendship points. Never let them die and always use a potion if they are injured. Also give them special treats such asProtein, Iron, Carbos, etc. Never give them bitter healing items. Placing them in your PC Boxes for a long time or in the Day Care doesn't affect the friendship points of your Pokemon, nor does leveling them up with Rare Candies. Use the Poketch's app Friendship Checker you get at the Eterna Pokemon Center to monitor your Pokemon's friendship level.
Go to Jubilife TV and get a picture of your Pokemon, then approach the photographer from the left or right side. If from the left, when asked to choose Pokemon, press Left or Up. If from the right, press Right.
Go to Jubilife City and enter the television station. Head to the third floor and find a boy and girl standing next to each other. Talk to the boy and say "EVERYONE HAPPY" and "WI-FI CONNECTION" to enable the mystery gift.
After you defeat Saturn at Lake Valor, go to Lake Verity to find out that Professor Rowan is being held captive by Team Galactic. Go to Rowan’s PC on a PC in a Pokemon Center and Professor Rowan will still talk to you.
In the underground, bury a large amount of spheres in one area. The next day, the walls will be full of digging locations for spheres and treasure. Bury at least fifteen spheres that you do not mind keeping buried for a long time to get a huge selection of digging spots. If you keep the spheres buried, the walls will always be full of treasures and spheres every day. Note: Once you deplete the walls of digging locations, there won't be much more in that area forthe rest of the day.
This requires the Step Counter Poketch upgrade. Set your Poketch to the Step Counter (number 4) and walk or ride around while holding the "C" button to stop it from counting and keep it on the same number. When you are done running around, slide your stylus away from the button but keep touching the screen. If done correctly, the "C" button will rise but the number will remain the same. When you take your next step, the number will instantly jump up to how many steps you had taken. Note: The steps still counted despite not being shown.
Before the release of Pokemon X/Y in 2013 there was a 6 in 65,536 chance to find one, and 12 in 65,536 after: these odds are commonly rounded to 1 in 8,192 and 1 in 4,096, respectively. However, to increase the odds of finding Shiny Pokemon to as high as 1 in 1,366 you will need Pokemon from two different real-world regions. For example, a Raichu from the U.S. and a Ditto from Japan. When you breed them together in a daycare, the child (usually the female of the Pokemon being bred) is much more likely to be Shiny than normal, a process commonly referred to as the "Masuda Method".
After getting the National Dex, you can get the following Pokemon:
Magnezone (#462) Catch or import a Magenemite, then get it to Magneton at level 30. Go to Mt. Coronet. Level your Magneton, and it will evolve. Rhyperior (#464) Get a Rhydon by leveling a Rhyhorn (Route 227 and Stark Mountain) or catch Rhydon (Routes 227, 228, and Stark Mountain). Then, trade it while it holds the item Protector. It will evolve into Rhyperior.
Magmortar (#467) Import Magby or Magmar, or catch Magby on Route 227 or Stark Mountain with Pokemon Leaf Green in your DS. Trade Magmar while holding Magmarizer to get Magmortar.
Togekiss (#468) Import Togepi or Togetic, or catch Togepi on the small island on Route 230 using Pokeradar. It is rare but easily caught with Max Repels. Use a Shiny Stone on your Togetic to get Togekiss.
Rotom (#479) Go to Eterna Forest, and enter the Old Chateau. Find the television that is flashing, and interact with it until it asks you if you want to thwump the television. Do so, and Rotom will apear. There is only one, and it is level 15. Either bring low levels or very high ones, and just use Ultra Balls.
Heatran (#485) After getting the National Dex and defeating the Elite Four, go to Stark Mountain. Go inside the mountain, and travel with Buck. Go to the end of the mountain, and he will take the Magma Stone. Exit the cave, and fly to the Staging Area. Go inside one of the normal houses, and talk to Buck. He will return the stone. Go back to Stark Mountain, and go to where Buck took the Magma Stone. Heatran will be there. It is level 70 and is a Fire-Steel type. Its final move is at level 96.
Regigigas (#486) Import all three Regis from Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire, or Emerald. Have all three in your party, and fly to Snowpoint City. Go into the temple there, and make it to the basement. Regigigas will be waiting there at level 70. It is a Normal-type and very strong, but has one major drawback. Its Slow Start ability cuts its Attack and Speed in half for five turns after each time it is switched into battle. Its final attack is at level 100. For Isgiga Impact, just buy the TM if desired. Go to the Move Tutor, and Regigigas can learn all the punches. Giratina (#487) After getting the National Dex and defeating the Elite Four, go to the Spring Path off Route 214 that opened up. Go into the cave, and find your way to Giratina. It is a level 70 Ghost-Dragon type with powerful stats and moves. It learns Lucario's Aura Sphere for its final move at level 90.
Cresselia (#488) Go to Canalave City, then go into Sailor Eldritch's house. There will be a boy in a bed and a woman. Talk to both of them, and Sailor Eldritch will ask if you want to sail to Full Moon Island. Do so, then go deep into the island and look at Cresselia. It runs off, and you must use the Marking Map Poketch to find and capture it as if it were Mesprit. It is a level 50 Psychic type and has surprisingly good stats all around for a level 50. It learns three signature moves at levels 66, 75, and 84. Its final move is Psychic at level 99. Phione (#489) Hatch an egg transferred from Pokemon Ranger. Raise Manaphy, then breed it to get Phione. Phione does not evolve into Manaphy. It is a moderate Pokemon in terms of stats. Rain Dance is its final move at level 69. It learns many typical Water-type moves, being a Water-type.
Darkrai (#491) Darkrai is only obtained through a hack or a special item from a licensed Nintendo event. Use the item, then sleep in some hotel. You will wake up on an island, and you then can try to catch Darkrai. This Pokemon is extremely powerful. Its ability causes one eighth health damage every turn to sleeping enemies. Its final move is at level 93, Dark Pulse; but its best move is Dark Void. It puts both enemy Pokemon to sleep with 90% accuracy.
Shaymin (#492) Shaymin is only obtained through a hack or a special item from a licensed Nintendo event. Use the item to go to Flower Paradise to find Shaymin. You must capture it there. Shaymin has average stats but is a strong support Pokemon for duo battles. Its final move is Seed Flare at level 100. This is a moderately good Grass-type Pokemon.
Arceus (#493) Arceus is only obtained through a hack or a special item from a licensed Nintendo event. If you get this item, go to Spear Pillar's Hall Of Origin, and use it. It will produce a staircase. Save the game before you reach the top. Once you reach the top, you must battle. This is one of the highest level legendaries since Pikachu in Pokemon Red. It is either level 80 or 90. It has very good stats and is a Normal-type. Its ability allows it to change type, based on what Plate it is holding. For example, if it holds Dragon Plate, it is a Dragon-type. Its final skill is at 100, Judgment. Judgment's type is based on what plate you have equipped. It does 100 with 100 ACC and 10 PP.
Enter the entrance-building on the right of Canalave and talk to the police officer there. He will say: "Boy, I sure am thirsty...", which is a reference to Pokemon Red, Blue, and Yellow in which a police officer in a similar building will not let you through until you get him a drink.
If someone is in your Secret Base and you are about to go back up to the surface, notify first. If you go back up to the surface when someone else is in your Secret Base, it takes them back to the menu of the gameand they will lose all of the progress they made.
To easily evolve Pokemon that can only be evolved by trading is to use the Global Trade Station . Fly to Jubilife City, and go to the Global Trade Station. Talk to the woman at the counter, save the game, and enter. Select "Deposit", then deposit the Pokemon that you wish to evolve. Request a Pokemon that is great such as level 100 female Piplups. Seek a desired Pokemon. Once you have found any Pokemon that you can trade for, trade it. After you have successfully made a trade, go to "Summary", and take back your Pokemon. As soon as they come back, they will evolve, just like when someone trades them to you. This trick will work on all Pokemon that evolves by trades.

Trade with him and you will get a level 14 Chatot.
Chatot Chatter Do some exploring and talk to people, and you will eventually encounter someone who says Chatot can learn human words. Once you obtain one and get it to about level 20, it will learn the move Chatter. Once it learns Chatter, go to your Pokemon menu and select "Chatot". It will show Chatter along with a summary, switch, etc. Then, press A and record what you want it to say into the DS microphone. Not only will Chatot say what you said whenever you use the move Chatter, but it will become its cry.

For the Visual Round, always follow the theme. For example, if the theme is "The Colorful", put in two different colored puffs, the mustache, the flag, and the glitter. The glitter is the best one. For the Dancing Round, when you are first, try "left" and "front" close together. Then, after a long period of time, hit "right". Two Pokemon might miss, and the other one will do well on every move. Note: The following requires three moves in the same category of the contest. For the Acting Round, choose your strongest move first, followed by weak move and another weak move. End it with your strongest move again. If you use a move prior to the category, such as "Sweet Kiss" in "Cuteness", the judge you perform for will give you Voltage, unless somebody already performed for that judge. If only you performed for a certain judge (for example, if you performed to Dexter and everybody else performed to Keira), you will get three hearts. If you perform for a judge that others performed for (for example, if you and another Pokemon perform for Jordan and the others perform for Dexter and Keira), you will only receive 1 heart. When you win, you will receive a ribbon.
Turnback Cave is only available after getting the National Dex and is located in Spring Path (the fourth and secret lake of Sinnoh) on Route 214. The legendary Ghost/Dragon type Pokemon Giratina can be found here. Turnback Cave is actually a randomly generated maze consisting of square-shaped rooms with four doors, one on each side, along with some rocks. Whenever you enter a room, it is practically impossible to turn back to it (hence the name). There are special rooms with pillars where the goal is to pass through three of these pillars located randomly every time you enter into another room, before entering into a total of thirty rooms. If you are lucky enough to pass through three of these pillars, you will find a room with a huge pillar and a wild level 70 Giratina standing in the center. Once you catch/defeat it, take any door from the room to go the main room, in which you have the option of leaving the cave through the door at the south in front of the stone tablet, or to try to generate the map again to get to the room in which Giratina was found. Giratina will not appear again, but there are rare items you can get from the room. Depending on the criteria, you will get a certain item or event:
Cross through thirty rooms in total without achieving to cross through three pillar rooms
No Item; get to the starting room.
Cross through three pillar rooms and any other room
Rare Bone (can be sold in the Pokemart for as much as a Nugget).
Cross through three pillar rooms and not any other room
Reaper's Cloth (used to evolve Dusclops into Dusknoir).
First make sure you have a Pomeg Berry and a Pokemon who has not had their HP lowered as much as possible already through Pomeg Berries. (If the latter is the case, the use of HP Ups on the Pokemon will be enough.) Get the Pokemon to a very low level of HP (1 or 2 HP). Once done, in the field, use the Pomeg Berry on the Pokemon. This will in turn cause the data in their HP to cycle back to the top of the counter, giving the affected Pokemon 65,535 HP--almost 90 times the possible maximum in the game.
To easily gain experience, spend money on any desired item. Then, go to the Pokemon League and fight the Elite Four until you lose. You will have gained, then lost a small amount of money, but your Pokemon might have leveled up. If not, level up. You can buy a lot of Revives and Potions to use to get to the last of the Elite Four and they might just be level up.
To breed, go to the Pokemon Daycare and put two Pokemon that you want to breed (for example, two Empoleons). Run around for a while and take out the Poke App that shows the Pokemon in the Daycare. There will be an egg in the middle if they have bred. Return to the Daycare and obtain the Egg.
Go to the Old Chateau, which is located in Eterna Forest at the top, near Eterna City. Cut is needed to reach this. Once inside, go through the door on the ground floor directly ahead of you. In there is a dining room where you'll see the ghost of an old man walk past the table to the left, towards the kitchen. Once he has left your screen, go to the kitchen to see that he is not there. To see him again, or if he didn't appear the first time, keep exiting and re-entering the room until he appears. To see a little girl ghost, return to the main hall and go upstairs and through the door in the center (in the same place as the dining room door, but a floor up). Enter the door next to the door on the far right. If there is a picture in the room with red eyes, you entered the correct location. You can see the ghost of a girl in the room next to you (which can be seen from where you are). She will look around and float out the door. When you go back onto the landing, she is not there, nor will you be able to see her if you go into her room. As before, if she did not appear the first time or you want to see her again, repeatedly enter to room until she appears. You can also find an item exclusive to the Old Chateau, the "Old Gateau", which heals all status problems of a Pokemon. It is located in one of the bins on the ground floor.
This method requires the item Luck Incense and a Pokemon that can defeat the Elite Four easily. Give the Luck Incense to that Pokemon and defeat the Elite Four to earn double money if the Pokemon holding the item switches into battle.
This trick requires a Pokemon that knows "Thief," and a Ditto. Enter a double battle with an item-less Ditto and a Pokemon holding the item you want to duplicate. Make Ditto transform into the Pokemon holding the item, then switch the Pokemon holding the item with the Pokemon that knows Thief. Use Thief on Ditto and win the Pokemon battle. The Thief Pokemon should now have a duplicate of the item.
After acquiring the National Dex, go to Canalave City and talk to Sailor Eldrich. Answer "No" to his offer, then fly home (Twinleaf) and save and turn off the DS. When you restartthe game, it will start with a quiz (like the interviews). Choose a word and select "Confirm". Your character will look like the selected word. For example, using the word AIPOM will make your character be dressed in an "Aipom suit". The trainer card will now show the sprite in an Aipom suit. Recommended words are CHARIZARD, BATTLE, ARCEUS, and LINK.
When using the calculator on the Poketech, if you get an answer to a problem, it will make a sound corresponding to the number of the Pokemon in the Pokedex. Note: This only works if you have seen that Pokemon.
To get Ball Capsules, the Seal Case is required. Go to Sunyshore City and go up until you see a building that has ribbons on it. Enter it and walk up to find a man with glasses that lets you buy Ball Capsules. Buy one, go to the Pokemon Center, then go to the PC. Go on your file, go to Ball Capsules, and select a Pokeball. When you see an icon, use your stylus and drag the icon to the Pokeball. Put on as many as desired. Select "Confirm" to make a Ball Capsule.
After choosing your starter Pokemon, go home. Your will tell you to go to Sandgem town to talk to Professor Rowan. There is plenty of tall grass on the way so fight any wild Pokemon that you encounter to level up your Pokemon to at least around level 7. Around the second patch of grass, you'll see a person standing in the top near the corner that will give you a free Potion if you talk to them. After receiving your Pokedex and touring the town, go to the store and buy as many Pokeballs as desired. Lucas or Dawn also give you some after one of them shows you how to catch wild Pokemon.
