Note: This procedure requires editing a game file; creating a backup copy of the file before proceeding is recommended. With a text editor, edit the "Default.cfg" file in the "\anachronox\anoxdata\configs\" directory. Look for the "set debug 0" line and change it to "set debug 1". Press ~ during game play to display the console window, then type invoke 1:86 to enable the cheat panel. It allows you to modify your characters and inventory. Besides those options, you can also enter one of the following codes at the console window to activate the corresponding cheat function.
The console window can also be activated without modifying the config file. To do this, hold ALT + SHIFT + F10. Then, press ~ to display the cheat menu. Hold ALT + SHIFT + F10 again to remove it. You can then type invoke 1:86 to enable the cheat panel.

To easily get the 8 Cobalt Crawlers, use the invoke 1:86 code to enable cheat mode and choose to "Choose Map" at the cheat menu. Select "Democratus Surface", then "Ballotine/Doren/Whitendon" in that order to go the Whitendon map. Once there, open the console window and type invoke 87:3035. There will be a dialogue -- click through it and receive a cobalt crawler. Repeat it another seven times to get the eight needed to assemble Hecatomb, the game's strongest Mystech. Note: This is only useful once you have passed the Elementor introduction by Grumpos in Hephaestus.
-To get enough Life Flower Petals to upgrade your Beetles in the Elementor window without having to exit and reenter the area you found one in or wait for it to regenerate, type invoke 30:2000 at the console window. You can repeat this as many times as desired with a regeneration time of a couple seconds as long as you are in an area where there actually is a Life Flower.
-There is a Life Flower in the Mystech tunnels.
-There is a Life Flower to the right side of the entrance to Pump 7, behind a tree in an alcove.
On the Sender Station, get some money by purchasing Shamfoofa Shells from Sandie in the Starports and selling them to Vince at the Lounge of Commerce. Once you have enough money, purchase about between 400 to 500 Shamfoofa Shells from Sandie. You must have at least one Life Flower Petal to do this trick. When you select the "Sell your rare item" option to sell the Life Flower Petal, notice that you can only sell a Twin-Scaled Underplate instead. Sell this item to get 5,000 Loonies. You will only subtract one Shamfoofa Shells and not the Life Flower Petal from your inventory. Keep repeating this to earn tons of money. Note: This also works for some other items that the vendor sells, but the Shamfoofa Shells produce the best results.
