Scouting hint

Sending out a few scouts is always good idea. No matter what epoch you are in, the enemy's plans are always unknown. At the start of the game, it is always nice to know the layout of the land and forests, where the enemy is located, and potential areas for base expansions.

Having engineers do other tasks on German campaign

During the German campaign, build a settlement by the gold mine. You can now use your engineers to mine gold. Make a building with the help of your citizen, then click an engineer to help build it.

Naval battles hint

When facing a ship that has much more power than yours (for example, a merchant ship against a battleship) while at sea, remember that your ship can out run the enemy vessel. If you know the layout of the sea, you can easily run circles around an island, etc. to lose the enemy quickly. After that, send your boat back to the dock for repairs and further protection.

Advanced epochs hint

To make the epoch advance quickly, build two Universities in every epoch. The next epoch will be available immediately. To save space you can destroy the University and build it again.

Deleting unwanted buildings

After a couple ages, certain buildings start to become useless, spawning no one. In order to get rid of these buildings without having to hire some command fire units, highlight the building and press [Delete]. Note: If you highlight more than one unit, it will only "kill off" a random unit in the group. Also, using [Backspace] will not work.

Blitzkrieg warfare on German campaign

To quickly defeat Poland, France and Denmark within a couple minutes, you must first create plenty of bombers and at least three artillery cannons. Use the artillery to destroy your Capital, then you can send your bombers to Poland, France and Denmark. Destroy their Capitals, then select one of your citizens to create a Capital on the same location in Poland. Immediately delete the Capital and use a citizen to create a Capital in France or Denmark. Repeat the process. The defeated cities will not attack your base. The only enemy will be Great Britain. Make sure to create plenty of AA to protect your Airbase and Research Center. You can then clean up the path to each of the destroyed Capitals to create a Capital and Town Centers in Poland, France and Denmark.

Attack while moving

Use this tactic when planning to advance into enemy territory. Hold [Ctrl] and Right Click. The units will target any hostile unit they see while moving to that location. They will then, if successful, move onto the area you instructed them to go to, unless they see another unit they want to destroy. Keep them away from anything that can kill them easily.

Same buildings in command hint

Double click a building (stable, barracks, house, etc.) to automatically have all of the same building in your command. This is useful when making units at the same time. For example, place nine stables together, double click on one, and tell it to build ten units. Every stable on the screen will be told to build the same number of units, and they will complete each unit at the same time.
