Easy custom items for multi-player

Use the tool set to create a Module and then an Area. Make sure you know how to use it (making a start area, how to use tile sets, how to use the wizards). Export a character from any game (single or multi-player mode) that you wish to use in another multi-player game. Create the items at a low enough level so that your character can use them. You can check the level on the Properties/General menu of the item. Be aware that certain abilities will add a certain amount of Required Levels to the item. The easiest way is to use the wizard and create the item at your level, at Godly quality. Make sure after you create the item you have checked as being "Identified" or else you will not be able to use the item (unless your Lore is high enough). This is found under the Properties/Properties menu, where you place the abilities. After you are done making you item, place it on the ground anywhere you desire. Nearest to the start location is best, and it is easiest to put them all inside a container of some sort, so you can just take them and place them directly into your inventory. Save the Module, Run the Module under New/ CustomModule, then use the character that you exported (called a Local Character). You can now have custom items, names, colors, and abilities to your choosing. Export the character again, then play in a multi-player game.

Modules

If the NPCs you created on your module will not talk to you, it is most likely because you did not set the actions correctly. Go into the conversation window and look on the lower right panel. There is a small wizards hat symbol. Click on it and just use race, gender, etc. By doing this, the people will talk to you. Note: Making then do things is difficult. For example, if you are injured and you have played the regular game, you have seen the Temple Of Tyr heal you.

Crafting items

To craft items in single player mode, collect objects such as Fairy Dust, Dragon's Blood and other unique monster parts. Bring them to the magic shop in the second town and enter the laboratory. Place two of the items in the box, close it, then cast a spell on the box. Depending on what combination you put in and what spell you cast, a different item will be created. Five combinations are written in the Tombs of Illuskan. The owner of the magic shop will send you on a quest to get those books.

Extra strength

While in combat, when you use the SetSTR code, you can set it to a maximum of 255 for one handed weapons (including two weapon fighting) or 127 if you are using a two-handed weapon. Your character will say that they are encumbered (only once), but it will not have any affect on speed or red warning at the top of the screen.

Easy gold hints

-At the start of the game when you get to the tutorial with the first shopkeeper, buy from him, and purchase the Paladin Tunic. The price of the tunic should be 0 gold and the selling price will be 1 gold. You can keeppurchasing and selling it as long as desired. Note: this was done with version 1.18.6718, using a Monk.

-When talking to Aribeth for the first time, keep asking her about the Recall Stone. Each time you ask her, you will get 100 gold.

-Note: This trick requires the most recent patch for the game, but not without the Shadows Of Underintide expansion pack. Play a multi-player game long enough to get some expensive armor, swords, gems, etc. Have whoever is running the server save the game, then save your character on your client. After that, drop all your armor, helmets, weapons, gold pieces, gems, etc., basically leaving you with absolutely nothing. Exit the game but leave the server playing, then reconnect with your previously saved character with all the items you dropped still in your inventory. All of your items should be in the floor. Pick them up and sell them. You can repeat this as many times as desired. For the person who is running the server to do this, save the character and game before dropping the items. Now drop everything and exit out. Reload the map with the saved character that still has everything then go in and pick up the items.

Easy experience hints

-In Chapter 2, go east to the Neverwinter Woods. You will need the ceremonial dagger located in the Nymph's house. Go east again past the Druid camp. There will be an altar in the bottom right of the map. Click on it and a dialog box appears. Choose option 5 to carve your initials into the altar with the ceremonial dagger. An ancient dire bear will be summoned. Kill it for about 500 experience points. Note: This was done with a level 9 character. Click the altar and select option 5 to summon the ancient dire bear again. Repeat as needed. By level 18 you will still be getting 300 experience points for killing it.

-In Chapter 1, do the quest to free the animals from the zoo. You can get the quest from the Druid standing next to the huge tree in the City Core. When telling the animals they have their freedom and to get to the tree, you will get 19 experience points per animal. You can tell the panther and then retell the panther the same message multiple times. This most likely works with the other animals as well. Note: This trick might only work of the animal seems stuck in the bars of its cage. It may also work if it is up against a wall and cannot move.

-In the Prelude, try skipping all the battles. After talking to the man who teaches you about leveling up (thus taking you to level 2), go directly to the barn area. Speak to Fenthick, and tell him you will meet him at the Halls Of Justice. After he levels you up to level 3, go back and kill all of the enemies that you passed on the way there. You can get approximately 1000 to 2000 extra experience points by doing this.

Easy battles

An effective and easy strategy when fighting Bosses or other hard to kill creatures is to make them follow you until you reach an area transition door. Fight close to it and when your hit points are low, exit. The creature will not follow you through the door. Rest and save; then go back to fight. Usually the creature will not have regenerated. This trick can also work with normal doors depending on the monster; usually humanoid creatures will be able to open non-area transition doors.

Trapped chests

When having trouble getting a trap disarmed, use missile weapons to bash the chest (right click on the chest and choose "Bash" on the radial menu). This will get rid of the trap and bash open the chest. Remember to position yourself and your henchman far enough away from the chest that you will not get hit if the missile triggers the trap on the first hit.

Modules

If you noticed this happening, it indicates the character you placed it on was too low in level or the armor is too strong to be worn by any person. Keep in mind that clothing should have basic stats. Mostly put the stats on bracers and helmets.

Easy items

Make a toolset and put your chosen items or custom items on the ground of your toolset. Name your toolset and go to "New Game" at the starting menu, then choose "Other Modules". Click on your module and create or open an existing character. When your module has loaded, pick up the items that you placed on the toolset then save your character (not your game). You can now begin a new game with that existing character, with the good items. Note: You can also get easy experience by editing enemies so that they are worth more experience points.

When creating items using the Aurora Toolset, keep in mind that stacking abilities like bonus ice, fire, or acid damage will not count. It is best just to have one of each. This goes for all things.
