Prince Of Persia: Warrior Within PC Cheats

Shadi strategies

-This is an easy and precise way to defeat Shadi. Attack her until you hear a large "clank", which indicates that she has blocked. After that, roll to the side of her. When this is done, most of the time you will be able to get behind her and repeat the attack. You should get to hit her about four times (and possibly up to six times) before she blocks. However, sometimes you may only hit her about two times before she blocks. You must listen for the "clank".

-Run towards her and do a triple combo. When she does a rage attack, hold BLOCK and move backwards. When she ends her combo by raising both swords, charge towards her doing a triple combo attack. Repeat this to win the battle.

The Dahaka strategies

You must have all nine Life Upgrades to gain the final sword, The Water Sword, to fight The Dahaka and receive the alternate ending. Before entering the Central Chamber the second time, make sure you go to the pedestal in the center of the hourglass room to receive the Water Sword. Enter the Central Chamber to trigger the intermission sequence. Then, chase the empress to trigger the alternate Boss fight with The Dahaka. This can be a very tricky Boss (especially under the hard difficulty setting), and he may seem very cheap at first. Right when the fight starts, trigger the Ravages Of Time attack against the beast. Do this twice, then run around and refill your Sand Tanks. The Dahaka will try to shoot his tendrils up through the ground in front of you. The best tactic to avoid them is to run around in a circle -- they will not touch you. Once your Sand Tanks are filled, go back towards him. When you get close to him, he will shoot tendrils out of his stomach at you. Roll under them then activate Slow Time and hit him until his health is about half way down. An intermission sequence will start, and the beast will be hanging on the side of the cliff. Run over to him and use Ravages Of Time as much as possible. When his health gets too low, he will jump up into the center of the stage and regain half of his health. This is when he becomes angry and things get tricky. He will try to jump on you several times. Run around the stage collecting the sands, rolling out of the way when he jumps towards you. If he misses you, he will try to shoot his tendrils at you; just run or roll away from him. He will eventually go back to shooting tendrils out of the ground. When your sands are full, run towards him and use the same tactic as before. When your down to a few of Sand Tanks, fill up again. The strategy is to get his health as low as possible before he gets knocked to the side of the cliff, then use either Slow Time or Ravages to kill him off before he jumps back up again.

-Get the Light Sword and ensure that you do not throw the Light Sword. Hang onto it until the Dahaka fight. Beat on him as instructed above, but when he hangs on the ledge for the first time, slow time and hit him with the Light Sword (not the Water Sword). He should die before he can jump back up. If not, you will defeat him the second time.

-Slow down time and attack until he falls off the edge. Once he does, slow time again and attack until his life is gone. If you need more sand, there is some scattered around the platform.

-The Dahaka's attacks are predictable and repetitive. When far away he will shoot his tendrils through the ground up at you. Run around in circles to avoid it, making your way closer to him. If you get too close he will shoot his tendrils directly at you. Roll to evade them. As you roll, slow down time and go in for heavy combo hitting. As you get him lower in health, the Empress will help you and shoot him off the arena. He will become stuck on the ledge. Stock up on the Sand Tanks that are regenerating around the arena. Slow down time or use Ravages Of Time to inflict maximum damage. He will eventually get back up and jump at you. Keep rolling until he calms down and remains stationary. Repeat the process until he is defeated.

Play as Sandwraith

When you come across the portal room for the second time, when you have to switch the time to the present for the first time, the Prince will say that something is wrong. You must run the switches on the wall to make the portal work correctly. Do not run the switches on the wall. Instead, enter the portal as it is and you will switch the time to the present. Save the game, then exit and load the game. You will now be playing as the maggot man. In this mode you will keep losing life and lose much more health when hit than in normal mode. However your attacks will be very powerful and you are much more quicker. Note: Save the game on a different file if you wish to continue the game as the Prince.

Rating 4

Alternate ending

Finish the game with all nine Life Upgrades. When you get to the room before the Empress' throne room, the Water Sword will be there. It is the only weapon that can kill the Dahaka. For the last battle, instead of fighting the Empress you will fight the Dahaka.

Defeating enemies quickly

-While on a cliff or platform with areas to fall off and enemies start attacking in groups, simply throw them off instead of wasting Sand Tanks or fighting them all head on. This saves time, especially when you reach The Cliff as the Sandwraith.

-To easily defeat any of the large enemies that require you to jump on their backs and get hits, first use Slow when you are climbing up its back. Once you get up there, start hitting it as much as possible. Eventually, before time runs out or it has the chance to throw you off its back, you won't be able to stab it in the neck and it will fall. By doing this, you will only use one Sand Tank and it will be refilled by its death. Note: Do not use any other Sand Tanks prior to jumping on its back, or else you will waste them and not get them back too quickly. Note: You may have to use two Sand Tanks while on its back if it is used too early.

Hockey stick

After you get the Scorpion Sword, return to the central room. Turn the turnstile so that the lever is facing the doorway with the save point fountain. Stand facing the opposite doorway and walk up slightly and to the right. You will find a ledge that is one step lower than the area around you. Walk down and grab on to it, then jump to the opposite ledge and jump back and forth to slowly make your way down. Once you reach the bottom, drop down to the ledge below it. Wall Run to the next wall and get ready to jump off and back and forth to make your way up. Wall Run again, and when you reach the end wall, jump to slow your descent again. You will eventually grab onto a ledge. Make your way to the doorway that is next to it, but do not enter. Instead, keep going on the rocks until you see the area where sand is falling. Use the Scorpion Sword to break the wall. Break the rack of weapons and pick up the hockey stick. The hockey stick is unbreakable, but if you throw it the weapon will be lost. It has moderate damage and a relatively slow attack rate.

Sand Griffin strategies

-Note: You should already have the strongest ground attack. When facing the Griffin, hold BLOCK then hold down the key that controls your sand powers. While holding these, charge up until your ground attack is at maximum. This should automatically send out its shockwave, dealing a great amount to the Sand Griffin. Do this about three to four times and it should die.

-When the fight begins, trigger your ground attack twice. This should get him to half health. Then, run in circles until you have a new Sand Tank. Then, charge him and try to avoid his attacks. When he gets in the air, just hang on the edge. He cannot reach you. When he gets back on the ground, Slow Time and attack him. He will eventually be defeated.

Rating 2

Light Sword

The Light sword is the strongest secondary weapon in the game. When in the Mystic Caves, you will find a door that you must unlock via a switch. Immediately after that door, there is a drop in the floor. Drop down and break the left wall. Break the rack to pick up the Light Sword. It is unbreakable, but if you throw it you it will be lost. The Light Sword has maximum damage and maximum attack rate.

Rating 2

Glowing sword

Go to the Mystic Caves with a sword that can break walls and pass the first gate that unloced to find a passage divided by a pit with a switch on the floor. Jump into the pit and get through the breakable section of wall at one end, then break the weapon rack that is behind it to get the glowing sword. This secondary weapon does a large amount of damage, but with every use will also increase damage given to the Prince.

Clock tower tips

Once you reach the large room in the clock tower, the camera will zoom in on the Sand Troll with boxes. After defeating the enemies, the troll will keep throwing the exploding Sand Dogs. There are two weak walls on the left and the right. Go to the right one first to find a weak wall. Stand by it and look at the troll. When you see the troll throw those dogs, get out of the way. Look in the hole and you will see a water fountain. If you are running low on health and want to save a game, go right first. Do the same exploding tactic with the troll.

If you need sand, such as on the level where you have to go across the retractable floors before the gardens, there are usually jars in these sorts of areas. They will give you one full sand gauge if you break them.

Rating 2

Pink flamingo

After acquiring a sword that can break walls, get to the Garden Hall (Present). Begin at the middle passageway at the very top of the hall. Wall run to the rope, then wall run to the central platform. Turn to the left and walk through the rubble that should be in front of you. Turn around and hold onto the platform you were just standing on, then jump across the gap to the next platform. To your left is another platform with a switch. Once there, use the switch then go back to the platform you were just on. Climb on the block that is now here, then do a vertical wall run and jump to get to the beam above. Walk along the beam to the right then jump to the ledge on the far wall. Follow the ledge until you find an alcove, then drop down into the alcove and use your sword to break the rear wall on the right side. The pink flamingo weapon is hidden in the weapon rack. One hit from it can knock anything except Bosses to the ground.

Rating 2

Old sword

On the ship where the game begins, look at the weapon that your dead shipmates have dropped (the humans, not monsters). Most of them should be the sword you started with Prince Of Persia: Sands Of Time.

Girl that Empress Of Time sends strategy

Always jump over her and hit her in the air. However, if you do this long enough she will eventually dodge it. When she does, start counter attacking until starts dodging counters, then start jumping over her again. repeat this process until you win.

Rayman's glove

Go to the main tomb in the Catacombs and exit this area to start a Dahaka chase. Notice that the passageway branches during the second and third Dahaka chase. Turn left here and find the weapon rack immediately to your left. Break the weapon rack to collect Rayman's glove. One hit from it can knock anything except Bosses to the ground.

Die from falling while on ground glitch

Go to the Garden (Present) and make your way to location of the Dahaka chase #3 intermission sequence, when he annihilates Ravenman and he throws the Prince against the wall. Go to the same exact platform where Dahaka threw the Prince at during chase #3. From this platform you had to do a wall run to grab the ladder at your left. Once you are on that same platform, hang down from it. Try jumping to the platform with the pole sticking out (parallel to the ladder). Once you jump towards it, notice that the platform will become invisible and that you will land on the ground. Try to walk around the environment. As soon as you try taking a step, you will instantly die as if you fell from a platform.

Rating 1

Teddy bear

One of the miscellaneous secondary weapons is the teddy bear, which is found after earning the Scorpion Sword in the clock (west) tower. There are three encounters with a giant golem enemy in the clock tower when you initially go through it. The first is before you start negotiating the vertical climbing of the tower (past); the second is atop the clock tower (past); and the third is stationary and tosses exploding monsters in the clock tower's second area (past). Look for the room where the second giant golem enemy is found. You need to be in the present (find a time portal) and drop into the water-filled dead end past the golem's room. Break the wall and retrieve the teddy bear. The teddy bear is nearly unbreakable and does almost no damage, but has the ability to restore lost life to the Prince with each successful blow on an enemy.

Golem Boss strategis

-To defeat the harder Golem Boss that tossesexploding monsters at you, have at least five Sand Tanks full. Activate Ravage Of Time and hit him behind his legs (which has no armor), then jump on his back and onto his head. Immediately activate Ravage Of Time again so you can hit his head faster. When it wears off, activate Eye Of The Storm, then keep hitting him. You should then finish him off.

-Make sure you have at least two Sands Of Time slots full. Hit the back side of his legs where there is no armor. After a few hits it will bend. Jump on it and activate slow motion. Hit it a few times until it raises its hand to catch you, then jump onto the armor opposite of where the golem is raising its hand. When it removes it again, jump back onto its neck. Activate slow motion and start hitting until it falls. Note: This tactic can also be used with the mummy.

After you get the Scorpion or Water Sward, go to the garden tower. There were four levers and a statue in the center. Climb up on the ladder, then another one, and jump on the back platform. Climb a ladder and run on the wall. Catch a ledge and jump on the floor. There are three paths. Go the middle and find a time portal, then go to the present. Return to the roof and you will see a cracked wall (which Dahaka breaks during the chase). Go in the wall and jump behind it. You see a switch to the left side of you. Use it and climb the altar that appears. Catch the rim above it. Jump on the wall and climb down. Break the designed wall and you will find the Duck Mace. This secondary weapon is almost unbreakable and does almost no damage.

Crow mini-Boss strategies

-To defeat the mini-Boss that is formed from the evil crow enemies encountered in the start of the game after the ship level, jump over him and slash him in the air repeatedly. By doing this, he cannot hit you. You must wait a couple seconds between attacks. Also, in the last two stages, you will be on platforms; be careful that you do not fall off.

-When you face the crow king on the bridge, do not fight. Turn to the right side and climb on the surface, then climb on other side. Walk on the wall and stick to the pole. Jump to next pole. Jump to the surface, then walk on the wall and go up. Open the door by the Prince Of Persia symbol. Go inside the door to complete the level.

Ladies in red strategy

A recommended strategy when going up against a group or one of the ladies in red, near the beginning of the game is as follows. Always go into the fight with two weapons, but do not use the second one. Get all of them to go a sandy color then throw your second weapon at them. This will automatically kill them. They will drop weapons. You can pick them up and throw them at the ladies. Also, do not guard. Constantly attack instead. If you see one jumping, attack her immediately. If they get you to the floor and there is a group of them they can kill you instantly.

Life Upgrade locations

Life Upgrades can be found at the following locations:

1 (Past)
After you fight the girl in black a second time, pull the large altar on ground level of the sacrificial chamber to reveal a secret door. Go through the trapped hallway and get the first Life Upgrade.

2 (Past)
This is done after Slow Time is earned. From the room where the Prince has an intermission sequence with the maggot man creature, go into the big courtyard-like room with a timed floor switch next to some stairs. This switch opens a low gate at the top of the same set of stairs. Go through that trapped hallway for the second Life Upgrade.

-Note: To acquire the second Life Upgrade without getting the power that slows time, you must find the switch behind the barrels. Press the switch and wall ride up the wall, instead of running up the stairs roll. If done correctly, you should make it a moment before the door closes.

-Note: Use the following trick to get the second Life Upgrade early on When you first travel into the past after the intermission sequence of the Prince following the girl in black and she kicks you in the face and runs off, go back out of the hallways as usual. However, retrace your step leading up to this (the first fight with the crow Boss). Run up the wall then get up on the ledge. Wall run up the second wall as before. Now everything is intact. You should reach a set of stairs. There are three barrels on the right-hand side of the staircase that hides a pressure switch. Walk onto the switch then run to the side of the staircase. The Prince will hop the railing and start to roll up the stairs. As soon as you can, roll all the way up them to a small hole in the wall at the top. Once inside there are several set of spike traps, rock pillars, and timed swinging swords. Make your way to the end of this hall to get the very first Life Upgrade and deactivate all the traps. Run back to the hole you rolled through and there is a another pressure switch on your left. Wall run to press this switch and open the hole. Roll back out then make your way back down the hallway below and the fountain to save.

3 (Past)
This is done after the Serpent Sword is obtained. Rotate the turnstile switch directly opposite the facing of the metal nub where the Serpent Sword was used to create platforms to a door at the bottom of the chasm. Use long wall jumping to slow the Prince's descent down to the level of the door. Past that door is a trapped hallway that leads to the third Life Upgrade.

4 (Past)
While exploring the Garden Tower, look for a room that is overgrown with vegetation and is directly below a box and folding bridge puzzle. It is in the same area as the first switch that turns on the water for the Garden Tower. A break in the fencing allows the Prince to drop off and use ledges to access a door underneath the overgrown vegetation room. The fourth Life Upgrade is past that trapped hallway.

5 (Past)
While exploring the Garden Tower's second water puzzle, ledge up after turning on the water (but before exiting the room with the turn switch) for the fifth Life Upgrade.

6 (Past)
When exploring the Clock Tower, look for the giant Golem enemy that throws explosives. One breakable wall is a save point, but there is a second breakable wall on the other end of the room leads to the sixth Life Upgrade.

7 (Past)
After obtaining the Scorpion Sword and a particularly tough giant Golem encounter, a ladder leads the Prince to a Roman courtyard room. Two breakable walls are here -- one has a switch, and the other has the door which requires Slow Time to access. The seventh Life Upgrade is past that door.

8 (Past)
After you enter the Library, the Prince will need to pull out two bookcases to continue his progress. Look for two circular ledge/beam structures (one of which will have a Ninja) after dealing with the bookcases. One of the circular ledge/beam structures leads to a wall with three levels of ledges that may be climbed/sidled. This is a detour to the eighth Life Upgrade.

9 (Past)
There is a location near the start where you chased Shadee (girl in black) and a door shut behind her. You then have to go up a set of platforms to finally reach the switch atop the room, just before sacrificial pit. Go back there when you get a sword that can break walls. Make your way back up this room. Look carefully when on the top platforms. There should be a set of metal bars in one of the wall that seem damaged. There is a crate behind those bars. Break the metal bars with your sword. Bring the crate onto the platform and look up. You can use the crate to access a passage in the roof to reach the ninth Life Upgrade.

First Boss strategies

-Block and do the attack were you jump behind her, then attack her twice. Remember to block immediately after this or she will hit you down.

-While fighting the first Boss after becoming the Sandwraith, use slow time to easily kill it. It will rarely get a hit on you, and your Sand Tank will regenerate during this time. Whenever it runs out, quickly start slow time again. Remember to stay behind it or its attack will knock you off the platform.
