Start the game with the -console command line parameter and press TAB during game play to display the console window at the bottom of the screen. Then, activate the following cheats by entering the corresponding codes:
CHEAT FUNCTION - CHEAT CODE God mode - god Three weapons with full ammo, depending on character - allweapons Full ammo for weapons/grenades - allammo Flight mode - fly No clipping mode - ghost Disable fly and ghost codes - walk Faster rate of fire - fastweapons Spawn indicated object - summon Replace weapon [NOTE 1] - ReplaceWeapon Skip mission - CampaignNext God and Ghost modes - superman Disable God and Ghost modes - clark Field of view by number - fov Remove all stat display - stat none Display all stats - stat all Display framerate - stat fps Display network stats - stat net
NOTE 1: Equip the weapon you wish to be replaced then enter replaceweapon followed by a weapon-related summon code (for example, ReplaceWeapon EquipmentClasses.WeaponGrappler)
Play a level with two parts to it (for example, level 2). In the first part of the level, enable the allweapons code. Notice when you activate the code you will instantly switch to a weapon or item that is not in your inventory. This can be anything, from a Spinfusor to flags and balls to even turrets. Complete the first part of the level without switching from this weapon by pressing the number keys. When the next level loads you will have three different glitched weapons as well as a weapon you will automatically switch to that is not in your inventory. These will vary by level and can change if you repeat the cheat code again. Among these weapons is a Buckler that can be launched several times; Mortar and Anti-Air turrets; an explosion on top of yourself that can be "placed" by entering third person mode; and more. Note: This does not work in the first arena mission you encounter. Also, the weapon you first get from the allweapons code can be found in every level. If you run out of ammo or the weapon becomes "jammed", enable the allammo code to get more ammo or "unjam" it.
You can enable God mode, allammo mode, and anything else easily by using this trick. Note: Note: This procedure requires editing a game file; creating a backup copy of the file before proceeding is recommended. With a text editor, edit the "user" file in the "vugames\tribes vengeance\program\bin" folder. It should be similar to the following.
Note: It may not be exactly like the example above. Some of these keys will be different. Choose which keys you would like to use for the cheats. Make sure they are on your keyboard, such as F9 or F10. For God mode, enter the following line in the file: F9=god. There will already be "shot" there on "F9", but as it is not needed, you can overwrite it. For all ammo, make a line that reads F10=allammo. For ghost mode, make a line that reads F11=ghost. To counteract the ghost mode, enter a line that reads F12=walk. Note: These cheats only work with the story mode.
