Note: This procedure requires editing a game file; creating a backup copy of the file before proceeding is recommended. With a text editor, edit the "unreal.ini" file in the "\unreal\system" folder. Find the entries under [Engine.GameInfo] heading, which appear as:
Changing the value of "bLowGore" to "True" will stop the bodies from exploding when hit too hard. They will just disappear instead of flying to pieces. Changing the value of "bVeryLowGore" to "True" changes the blood splatters from red to green when you shoot something.
