"Agency()" Complete all three Agency tests thatbecome available in Recursion mode. The test requires fighting a clone of yourself in the layout of your choice. Switch cannot be used and area of effect upgrades, for example, +Load() are not needed since you will only face one opponent. Use a high damage combo such as Void() three times followed by Cull() + Cull() + Void().
"Everything()" Enter the Sandbox Practice Test to have five enemies for practice. Use Get() to place them into a cluster, then hit them with a high damage combo in Turn(). For example, use Void() three times followed by Mask() + Mask() to boost damage, then follow up with Cull() + Cull() + Load().
"Function()" There are sixteen functions in the game, some obtained by looting dead bodies and the others through leveling.
"Limiter()" The ten process limiters needed are gained through leveling.
"Process()" Activate a limiter for at least one encounter to have it update with some background information. Read this background information for each of the ten limiters.
"Reveal()" There are sixteen functions total, and each has three pieces of background information that can viewed by having an encounter with that function in each type of slot location (active, upgrade, or passive).
"Risk()" There are ten limiters taht all must be active at the same time for five encounters. This can be done in Recursion mode without the encounters being consecutive. Attempt this after a Boss fight (for example, the Spine or Grant & Asher) on the easier encounters that follow.
"Self()" You will continue gaining functions as you level up after getting all sixteen functions in Recursion mode. After getting a duplicate function, slot it into a version of itself, for example Tap() + Tap().
"Stack()" Place three of the four MEM functions into one slot, such as Tap() + Void() + Cull(). Each function requires one to four MEM slots, which are indicated by the number of bars on the side of the function. Have at least three such functions that require four MEM; for example Cull(), Void(), Tap(), and Help(). You will also need one slot that can receive two upgrades, which can be gained through leveling.

Looking Glass easter egg

The maintenance access door at the top of the tower district area has the access code 0451. Looking Glass had 0451 as the first entry code in every single game they made and now the same code appears in games like BioShock, Deus Ex, and Dishonored which ex-Looking Glass developers have worked on.

Recommended Loadouts

The following are a few effective loadouts to try if you are having trouble coming up with your own unique loadouts:

Jaunt (active) + Mask (upgrade) + Help (upgrade)
Use Jaunt to create a copy of Red in your wake that will draw in enemies, allowing you to enter stealth mode for a short time. You must be out of sight as you finish the Turn because enemies won't fall for a decoy if they can see the real thing standing next to it.

Load (active) + Ping (active)
Deploy Load into a crowd of enemies and set it off with Ping (or any other function that serves up a fast volley attack when in the active slot) to create an area attack.

Crash (active) + Mask (upgrade)
An effective way to start a combo since this gives Crash the equivalent of a stealth boost, increasing the damage of backstab.

Bounce (passive)
Place this in a passive slot to gain a deflecting shield that will protect Red from damage. The cooldown is quite long at 5 seconds but very useful nonetheless.

Cull (active) + Load (upgrade)
Cull is already powerful on its own, but combined with Load it will result in increased damage as well as fanning out in a blast radius.

Crash (active) + Jaunt (upgrade) + Load (passive)
Upgrading Crash with Jaunt allows you to use it outside of a Turn when the Turn gauge is refilling, which is effective for taking out shielded cells that may be littering the field post Turn. Load in a passive slot will generate volatile packets onto the field at intervals. Thus, the combination of all 3 allows you the freedom to be able to attack while the Transistor is in cooldown mode and the spawning packets gives you more ammo you can detonate during this period or if things are starting to look a bit hairy.

Cull (active) + Get (upgrade)
Cull’s Hulk Smash effect tosses enemies into the sky, which prevents you from following up with another attack. However, combine Cull with Get so they remain firmly rooted to the ground and remain vulnerable to more hits.

Tap (passive)
Tap as a passive function increases Red’s HP by 150%, which is a pretty nice health boost if necessary.
