Easy skill experience points

At the start of the game, the hero is being trained at the Guild. Just after he turns into a teenager, he is to pass three tests. They are melee training, skill training, and will training. After passing all these tests, Maze will test you himself. First he will ask you to use melee attacks on him. Instead of doing that, take out your Yew Longbow, lock on to him, and shoot him from a distance. He takes damage but won't die, and you won't be punished for attacking. You can earn 5000 Skill Experience Points in just 15 minutes this way. Note: This may only work on the original Fable for Xbox.

Jack Of Blades strategy

You cannot hit Jack until after defeating the minions he has summoned. Use the Slow Time spell to kill them easily. When Jack starts to fire lighting, quickly roll out of the way and hit him. After that, Jack will fly up and force you to use ranged attacks. Hide behind the rock spire and hit him with a multi-arrow spell. Try to keep your ground while Jack summons more minions. You will get the Sword of Aeons as a reward.

Arena Round Strategies

The following is a list of every round in the arena and the enemies you will face. Follow the strategy for each round to easily complete the arena in 15 minutes. Note: maxed out Physique, Health, and Toughness is recommended:
ROUND STRATEGY
Round 1: Wasps Enflame usually kills them in one hit. Level 1 Enflame works fine. If you need the Skill points, use your bow. That should take them out in a hit or two.
Round 2: Hobbes Watch out for the Red ones as they are stronger. Turn on your Physical Shield (level 1 works fine) and just hack away at them. Try to get the white ones first because they are using ranged attacks and do not move. Then, just hack away at the rest of them.
Round 3: Balverines This starts the team rounds. If you have The Sentinus is recommended to make this easier. To get it, donate between 32,000-48,000 gold at the Temple of Avo, depending on your alignment. Enflame and Force Push works well for the first two spawns of Black Balverines, while your silver-augmented weapon works well for the white ones. The Sentinus is augmented already; if you have it, use it.
Round 4: Undead Cast Berserk before Whisper can get hits in. Once done, cast Slow Time and hack away at them. They should take one hit, then fall and give the orbs. For the other spawns, just try to be quick. The big strong ones should take two or three hits with an Obsidian Greathammer. The Sentinus, will require two hits.
Round 5: Bandits The first spawn is easy but the second is probably the hardest round in the entire Arena. The Assassins will block almost every hit you throw at them. Enflame and Force Push is vital for this fight. Slow Time is useful if you need the experience. Just use Assassin Rush to get behind the big ones and slash at them.
Round 6: Earth Trolls Level 3+ Slow Time and Level 2+ Berserk make this fight very easy. First, once they rise and are able to be hit, cast Berserk. Then, immediately afterward cast Slow Time. If you have maxed out Physique, they will be dead in about six hits. With a good weapon with 200+ damage, they are easier and will be killed in about four or five hits.
Round 7: Rock Trolls This is a tough fight since they are both throwing rocks at you. First, enable Physical Shield so that the rocks will not knock you over. Then cast Berserk and Slow Time. If you have a powerful weapon with 200+ damage, they will require about twelve or thirteen hits before they fall.
Round 8: King Scorpion Only use melee attacks if you have maxed out Physical Shield. Otherwise, use ranged attacks instead. Use an Ebony Crossbow. This little bug is amazingly tough. With Multi-Arrow, it can be defeated in about five minutes. Watch out for the little scorpions it sends out. Use melee attacks on them.

Easy money hints

  • Become completely evil and marry the mayor's daughter of any town. Once done, kill the mayor somewhere in the woods where you trick him into going. Most mayors are loaded with gold. Because you are married to the daughter, you will inherit their money. Once you have the money, kill your wife and leave town. Note: If the mayor has any sons you must kill them before you kill the mayor, or else you could be sentenced to death, so to speak.

  • After buying a house (for example, at a cost of 5,000 gold) and upgrading it enough, place your most expensive trophies in there (for example, Champion Seal and Bandit Seal) and sell the house. It should have sold for 8,000 gold. Once done, break into the house and get your trophies back. The house should cost 5,000 gold again. Repeat this to gain 3,000 gold in profit each time.

  • Before the archeologist quest, buy several houses. Then world save and load that save again. When you load, teleport to Witchwood and start the quest. Once done, teleport back to the town you bought the houses at. Sell them, then hero save and load. You will still have the houses and the gold you obtained by selling them. After you load, you can just teleport to Witchwood and do it again. Note: When this is done, you cannot marry Lady Grey.

Easy experience hints

  • Use food items (for example, red meat, carrots, fish, etc.) after building up a high combat multiplier to get the most experience out of them. Set the food item to a quick slot to use them fast.

  • Find a place where skeletons respawn. With a good weapon and silver and sharp augmentations, they should be no problem. Once you get the B attacks, try to use them. They build your multiplier faster. After that, just keep killing them. They will drop Heal Potions so you should not have to worry about life.

  • Run between Orchard Farm and Lookout Point while killing all the bandits. Repeat this as many times as desired to gain easy experience in strength, skill, etc.

  • Approach the Ancient Cullis Gate in Darkwood to be attacked by a group of Hobbes enemies. Defeat them, then head toward the bridge that leads in the direction opposite the gate. Touch the bridge, then return to the gate again. More Hobbes enemies will appear. Repeat process to easily kill a bunch of Hobbes enemies, earning plenty of experience in the process.

Easy magic experience hint

Get the summon spell and have some Will Potions to use Findan area with plenty of enemies, or a Rock Golem. The Arena is a good place to try. Wait until your combat multiplier gets very high, then repeatedly use the Summon spell. The first time you cast it, it will take off a good amount of your Will, but consecutive presses will only take a slight fraction off of it. Cast the Summon spell repeatedly as fast as possible. Each casting will give you Will experience. Use a Will Potion once your Will gets low enough, and run around to avoid getting hit by enemies to maintain your combat multiplier. You can gain more than 3000 Magic experience points in one session. Note: You can also assign "Meat" to the D-pad and make sure you have a lot when your combat multiplier is high. Then, eat some to get lots of strength experience.

Developer Style haircut

After starting the game, kill everyone in the Hero's Guild to get renown until you reach Legendary status. This may take some time. When you have Legendary status, you can then take the normally "undoable" quests. Take the Snow Troll quest and go to the Hero's Guild Cullis Gate, where you will see that a Cullis Gate has been activated on the Hook Coast. Go there, then find and defeat the Snow Troll. He is just like an Earth Troll, but is white. After defeating him, look behind the rock near where you first fought him. You will see a Haircut Card. Pick it up. You will see that you now have the Developer Style haircut. Teleport back to the Hero's Guild, play the game, and enjoy.

The Lost Chapters: See both endings

To see both sides of the endings and after stories, save the game before battling Jack Of Blades. Save just before you enter the large gates that lead you to the final battle, so that you can choose at the end both to keep his mask or to destroy it. Do not skip the credits. Once done, save the game again, but in a different file. You can then load the game before you fight Jack Of Blades and do all of this again. You now have a choice between real evil or good, and have people either screaming and running away in your presence, or have have them bowing at your feet.

The Lost Chapters: Augmentations

Augmentations are found all over Albion and used to upgrade your weapon, both melee and ranged. However, there is a limit to how many AUgmentations you can put in certain weapons. The following is a list of Augmentations, how to obtain them, and a brief description:
AUGMENTATION LOCATION/DESCRIPTION
Silver Augmentation This is the most common and cheapest Augmentation in the game. When added to a weapon, it will hurt enemies such as Balverines or undead to the extent of your weapon's attack points.
Fire Augmentation This Augmentation is quite common to find and cheap to buy. It adds slightly more damage to your weapon for some enemies.
Lighting Augmentation This costs about the same as the Fire Augmentation, and is also easily found. It has the same affect as the Fire Augmentation.
Piercing Augmentation This is a lesser version of the Sharpening Augmentation and can be bought at most stores for a moderate price.
Sharpening Augmentation This Augmentation is somewhat rare, and expensive to buy. However, its price is worth it. When added to your weapon it gives it an extra 20 attack points. When added to the Solus Great Sword, (the strongest weapon in the game), its attack will increase to 345.
Mana Augmentation This Augmentation is very expensive and very rare. When added to your weapon, it will boost the time it takes to restore your mana by 2. This Augmentation can only be bought at the Snowspire Village weapons store. It can be found in some chests in the Northern Wastes.
Health Augmentation This Augmentation is very expensive, and can only be bought in the Snowspire Village weapon store or the Bowerstone North general shop. When added to your weapon, it restores your health slowly. It can be found in some chests in the Northern Wastes.
Experience Augmentation This Augmentation is the rarest and most expensive of all. This Augmentation will add to the amount of experience you get for killing an enemy. It can only be bought in the Snowspire Village weapon store.

Arena hints

  • You will get around 28,000 gold and many good points if you do not kill Whisper in the arena. Do not kill Whisper if you do not want to be evil, and you will get more gold than if you had killed her. It also does not make it as difficult to kill her brother Thunder.

  • To easily complete the Arena, obtain the Sword Of Aeons to make short work of even the strongest enemies. This can only be done if you have already completed the game but it's a good way to make money.

  • When you take the Arena quest card and are at the entrance, go in and purchsae as many health potions as possible, or some will potions if you use magic. Go in and kill all the creatures in the Arena until you defeat the giant scorpion. Just before the trumpets sound, take all the experience from the scorpion and immediately Hero save. Reload the saved game and you will be back at the entrance but have more experience and money. Also, you will be more like a good person than an evil person.

Whisper strategies

  • An easy way to defeat Whisper is to keep the whirling blades on the side between you and her. She will repeatedly get hit as she approaches them while trying to attack you. You can cast magic or shoot arrows at her while doing this if you want some experience at skill or will. Also, these whirling blades will inflict chaos to your enemies as you defeat them (except for the trolls).

  • Do the following to stay on the good path but still kill Whisper and get the money. When you choose to kill her, you are supposed to pull out your weapon and give her the final blow. However, you do not have to do it that way. Answer that you are going to finish her off, but then put away your weapon. Walk up to Whisper and punch her. The game will count it as a kill and you will still get the money. However, you are also flagged as doing good by "sparing" her life.

  • Whisper is irritating as she occasionally may steal your kills, depriving you of precious experience. Use Force Push on her to get her away from you and the creature that you are fighting. Try to get between her and the creature before you do this, as it will send them in different directions.
